Larry said, "i paid the 5 bucks so that it would not get bumped by a obone order if they were in short supply."
So how does that really work on closeout items???
I thought that: (if the inventory computer is right) they accepted orders for the amount of stock that they have on a close out items. When the compute says they are out, they stop accepting orders. They then ship the ground orders according to the order of when the orders were placed. If you paid the extra $5, yours would be shipped right away, but unless the inventory computer was wrong on the amount they had, the ground orders would still all get product. That's the way it worked for me on the last batch (I got a Stutzen T01 made in 12/00 -New Old Stock???).
Anyhow, I'm pretty sure that for normal stock items, the $5 guys get first pick and if it runs out, the ground guys get a backorder.
What has been peoples experience on closeout items, have had an order that got past "Ready for Shipping, your credit card has been authorized" and then found they were sold out?
i thought perhaps it would get me to the front of the line. at any rate the order has been shipped.
oh and i meant to say "phone order" and not "obone" order. i am not the greatest typist.
i have been reading past posts on the 46 and the consesus is that it is exceptionally accurate. and only accurate guns are intersting. i will shoot it in my next ft match to see if i like the lower power compared to my d52. my only concern is power to drop the target at 50 yards.
i may sell my 52 and my hw 50s is i like the results.
Expect something in the range of 780-820 fps with cpl's. I find that mine will drop Gammo FT's at 50 yards consistently. I do note that I keep these targets inside and only bring them out to shoot. On the spinners that live outside, I sometimes have a power problem - probably due to rust. So get on the maintenance crew at your club and you won't have a power problem!
