Lousy German engineering. Can't even build a gun that last 80 years (two months shy).

Tried my Haenel I DRP today. First round ok. Second round the gun goes off while bringing the sights on target. Luckily, there was a bare cement wall behind it and the pellet just mushroomed into it. I though it may have been a careless brush with my finger on the side of the trigger, so tried a third. As I was aligning the sights, pop! Cocked and loaded a fourth pellet, always holding the stock and barrel, lined her up and gently tapped the stock. Pop! Too bad, as it is a very pleasant shooting, accurate little rifle.

Now I have to build a spring compressor (need one anyway). It's either recut the sear/hook or go for a stronger trigger spring.

Yes, I know it's not a Diana, but they were one of Diana's chief competitors in the late 20's/early 30's. At the very least, same country of origin.
