First,, I never intended to cause so much "Drama" here at Diana Werks,,,,where not so long ago,, I was a "Newbie" & welcomed so graciously. Im Sorry. I have made MANY Friends here. I still have all but one of them. Ok,,, Harrys Gun,,, NO I have not "solved" the case. I know WAY more than I want to know concerning this issue. I will NOT say anything here again regarding what happened to Harrys gun,I cant. I have however "Solved Harrys Case". What case might that be you may ask?? The case of Harry dont have his very first beloved Diana 350 no more. (It was stolen from him) I have arainged (with help) to replace Harrys gun. No it wont be the "jeweled trigger" Godess we all not so long ago were watching progress of here so closely:}?? But,,, I just got a progress report on the tune on Harrys new gun tonight,,, Seems Lady Diana "Stroker" is hittin pretty HARD & accurate!! I have been working on this "Case" for some time now. I am truly sorry if I miss led Yall. I have managed to replace Harrys gun. I know it is not HIS gun,,if anyone wants to hold that against me,,,, so be it. I dont have a pot to pee in right now,, Im fixin to lose my truck & the wifes truck to the "bank". So,,, I DID NOT pay for this.(To the 2 people here I owe money to) I do want to THANK those that supported me & stood up for me thruought this "Soap Opera" I created. (I/We know who you are) I just managed to get Harry a new 350. I just tried to do somthing nice for a FRIEND. I WILL NOT apoligise for that,, nor should I have to. And like my FRIEND Dave said,,,,,,,,, ifin Ya dont want to read this thread,,,,, Ya dont have to!! Oh Yeah,,,,, I got me a Diana 34 that ROCKS!!!!! See there,,, all about Diana,s!! Again,, I apoligise for the "Soap Opera". "Old Tim".

End of soap !

February 3 2009, 2:30 AM

Dear Tim, seems to me you're still 200% alive ! Funny to see you back on this forum and good you ended the "soap story". Well, what you missed in the mean time is a picture of a beautifull D48 with Ginb style 16 stock ! It must be easy for a "woodman" like you to make a stock like this, I suppose this is a nice challenge for 2009 happy.gif Best regards from Johannis.

Rock solid!

February 3 2009, 3:35 AM

Tim, Your are a rock solid guy and a better friend Harry never had.I don't know what you did to get Harry, a gun, but I'm sure he will treasure this new 350 in more ways than one. This forum may be titled "The Dianawerk Collective" but years later we will not remember the post about breech seals, tuned guns, and triggerrs. What we will remember is the friendships made on the forum.

The American People are weathering a major storm right now. And many folks are losing their homes, jobs etc. My sister was just let go of her job in the PR department of the "Children s Hospital along with 28 other people.I see it everyday in almost every area. My nephew just shipped off for his second tour of duty in Afghanistan.

Every thing is in God's hands, and we all need to keep the faith. Harry lost his gun, but gained something a lot more valuable.

Good job Tim! We are all proud of you.

What is that stock you are referring to? I remember a post with it. For those who aren't familiar with it, how about some background? Is it a factory built model or custom?

Ginb stock.

February 3 2009, 2:54 PM

Red feather: I send a picture to Hector and he put it on the forum. It's a Gentiline stock from Indonesia, custom made for the D48 in Sono Kembang wood ( a type of wood from Indonesia, dark and very tough ) Have a closer look on www.ginb.it and here you see the style 16 stock I own. Best regards from Johannis. ( very heavy stocks and they absorb a lot of recoill waht gives your air rifle a "match character" ).

Harry's gun

February 4 2009, 12:15 PM

To help you out, if you send me the trigger housing, I'll jewel it for you for free. At present, I'm offering gun tunes, trigger tunes, and jeweling of trigger housings and the outside of compression tubes. Looks sweet. Just like Lindburg's Spirit of St. Louis. Lee

That was real thoughtful of you. BTW, did you ever find out anything about Curtis? Just wondering if was a bad egg, after all, or some poor schmuck who had bad luck/troubles.
