| I went on a drive to the local gun store, Adventure Sports in Lynnwood and I saw the most unusual Diana ever. It appeared to be a 48/52 action, but it had a stock like I have never seen before. It was highly figured walnut llike something you would find on a Maccari stock, but it was not a 52 luxus, because it had standard checkering and a standard buttplate. I'm sure the stock is OEM because it has identical checkering to the old beech stock and is nearly an exact copy.....Any Ideas what this could be? |

Maybe they didn't use the French checkering on the current models? Or could be an after market. How much were they asking? Or, more importantly, how could you drive back without it???? |

My wallet was the reason I couldn't drive back without it.....They were asking $559, but they've had it so long they said they'd probably trade for my 350!

Your 350 cost what, $350? And they are asking $559? Bet if you offered them $300 to start with, it would be yours out the door for $350. Especially if it's been holding down the rack. |

Some years ago I went into my local gun shop and came across a Beeman R1, the older store logo with a XXXXXXXX walnut stock. Might have been a Doc Beeman special order, wearing a Blue Ribbon variable and sporting a "supertune", $450. I decided it was more than I needed in an airgun (power-wise) but sure wish I had gone for it then, if only for that knock-out stock! | |
