"WANTED OLD PELLET GUN" This is the ad I just took out in the local paper. If any of you remember, I did this last year and landed a nice Beeman C1, and a Beeman R7 in mint condition for next to nothing. I have just placed a new ad. As usual I have had many phone calls for Crosman c0'2 and a lot of calls of folkes that have Ben Sheridans. If anyone wanted one of these you could probably buy 3 or 4 a week for about $25,00.If you like air guns, then a little ad like this can be very fun. Like a box of Chocolates, you never know what the next phone call will be. Had a call last night for a old "Schimel".I noticed that Redfeather picked up a nice gun, a "Barnet", this is the kind of guns you might land, to include old Beeman, RWS, etc. The cost is minimal for the ad, and is a lot like fishing. I urge other to try it.
Bought the Barnett off another forum classified but did cruise Craigslist

Found a little Milbro 75 (based on a Diana 160) for cheap and fifteen minutes from me. I see guys with ads there now looking for old guns. If you can get Sheridans that shoot for $25, brother, you have hit a gold mine. Easily turn those around for $75 and up. But it takes a lot of leg work and, frankly, I don't have the coin or storage space left for much more.
Going to gun show this weekend. Out of the last four or five I have come home with:
B20 - $50
Very good condition Blue Streak rocker safety w/killer trigger - $65
Diana GEM pattern - $100 (Probably a bit steep but I likes it.)
Who knows what I may find next? (A new place to live if the old lady finds out.)
Yea, Red, I have turned down a lot of offers for Ben/s.Most have been described as in really good condition. I had thought about buying like maybe 10 or 12 and turning them, but I just do not have the time. I am really looking for something unusual, or a really nice Beeman, RWS. HWS etc. Last year I turned down a really nice vintage HWS model 30, and am still kicking myself for that as well as a RWS Pistol like new in the box for $50.00.
But heck, this is part of the fun!

I tried that last year in a local hardware store here in town. This is one of the old school hardwares thats been around before I was even born.(Old Air Guns Wanted Dead or Alive)
They have a bulletin board in the lobby for just about anything you can imagine(handymen, cars, boats, junk etc.. I was expecting a ton of calls, after a few weeks not one call,I could not believe I did not get one response.Maybe I'll try the local Craigs list.

Air Guns Create Questions????
Together we can write the answers!!
Bob, I live in a fairly good size metro area and place my ad in the "Antiques and Collectibles" which is on the first page of the Classifieds, also near "garage sales". It works better than placing the ad in "Guns" or "sporting goods".
If something comes along, that is nice and I don't want, I will let the guys on the forum know and if they like, I will try to hook them up with the seller. I will not do this for someone I do not know. Last year some unknown saw that I had mentioned a gun, and he emailed me for the info. I was nice of enough to go back and contact the seller and hook him up, but he did not even have the courtesy to let me know how the deal turned out even after I made numerous e-mails to him. The gun was a rear Crosman. I am sure he got a good deal.
