Some of you like me thought the 460 might not shoot OK at low power but I was amazed how it shot out of the box, the lock time was a lot better than I expected and was accurate.
It was doing between 580-600 fps with 14.3
It is governed by a washer in place of the breach seal spacer plus a soft spring.
So far I have only had about 40 shots and it feels rough and less robust than my tx but I cant wait to tune it as there is oil not grease lubricating the sliding breach and no lub on the linkage and I feel confident that I can improve on it and smooth things out but I will run it in first to make sure there is nothing wrong with it.

The breach lock up is working ok but the cocking leaver lock up feels soft compared to the tx but acceptable.
So far I prefer the TO1 to the TO5 but that is because I like TO1 safety catch, and what about the front sight post?

I hope you all will help me with any info I may need as there is none hear, most shops and tuners and spares suppliers haven't heard of the 460.
So far I im pleased with the 460 and cant wait to look in side but if it settles ok I might just leave it.
Regards Barry.g

I was also surprised at how light the 460 is. I was showing it to my 19 year old son and I was saying that I was not to keen on the front post when he had a go and hit the bull for the first time and said that he liked it thick so perhaps Diana has got some young open sight designers, not like the old days:

I'm on the older side (there, it's said)

And the stock sights on my 54 work well for myopic me. Glad your gun turned out as you were hoping. Those look so well made. They used to build quality guns at that power level but, since half the world became infected by magnumitis, the only things around are now are mostly cheap.

Please keep us posted on your progress.

Now you are making me feel like a power monger!

My 46 in .22 shoots RWS Superpoints at 656 fps.

All the RWS guns seem to be coming pretty much without lube. Their piston seals are self lubricating, but nothing else is. You can either go with something like the RWS Chamber and Spring Oil and lube without taking it apart, or the better approach would be to take apart and get the Maccari heavy tar for the spring and the moly for the metal on metal parts (or go top class like Larry and get the Clear Tar for the sliding compression chamber).
