Nice thing about a scope is they are like glasses you focus both to your eyes

There are those that dont no you can focus the back end of the scope to fit your eyes.

Not quite the same problem - actually other end of the scale. I'm firsighted - can't focus on anything closer than about four feet. I simply adjust the scope to me and go for it - without glasses. It is interesting, sometimes, trying to guess whether I have the correct end of the pellet going in the breech wink.gif

actually, i'm presbiopic

leaning towards nearsighted. i don't have a lot of accomodation capacity. narrow range of focus but if i take my glasses off i can see very sharp from very close to about three feet then i need some correction out to infinity. my left eye is quite a bit better than my right for distance even though my right is my dominant eye. fortunately the occular adjustment on my scope is enough
to give me a sharp reticle (which is what the occular adjustement is supposed to do).

Take the glass's off, just like Binoc's. The scope are my eyes.

I have tried taking them off but..

when the squirrel or Starling moves before I get to take a shot, I need to put my glasses back on to see where they 've gone to.. and it's caused problems for me in the past, loss of valueable time or the critter. I 'm pretty bad without my glasses - I 'm mostly myopic (nearsighted).
But yeah I have tried target shooting at high magnif. without glasses and it worked out ok.

I hadn't thought about that

fortunately, in my case, my distance vision is perfect - I guess it makes it a little easier that way - though, like I mentioned, it's sometimes a little 'interesting' to figure out if I have the pellet pointed the right way wink.gif I have considered going to an old pair of reading glasses that focus pretty well at about three feet - that's what I use when I'm doing open sights.
