Can someone tell me the ballpark spring dimensions on the model 24? I have yet to receive a reply back from Umarex.

I'm looking for a spring with these dimensions:
* ID = .530 - .535
* Wire diameter .109 - .114
* number coils 31

And no, JM doesn't have this size spring.

Thanks

Chuck

Look here:

See #8

JM Ultra XL would likely work fine:

ID = .536
Wire dia. .12
Coils 30

1 less coil ensures you won't get coil-bound.

Thanks, just returned from their website

sent them an email. For a long time all I've ever bought were JM's springs. He doesn't have the spring I need.

Thanks!

No idea

- but for the price, if you only get 1/3 the life of a JM - you still come out even.

RWS 24 Spring

Not sure why you are looking for another spring. But if it's for power gain, which was my case, I bought a spring guide power spacer from JM for $3.50 and it took my 24 (.177) from 570-580 fps to 625-630 fps with JSB Express. I also cleaned all the Velocity tar off the spring and made sure the ends were polished mirror smooth tnen used the new clear Euro grease on the od of the spring. Made a world of difference. I shot it yesterday about an hour or 300+ pellets and averaged 5 shot groups of 3/8" at 30 yards. Groups are now as good as anything I own and simply a joy to shoot.
If your spring is broken then that's another issue but if it's more power then this may be an option. You certainly wouldn't want to up the fps too much more as accuracy would then be affected.
Good luck and happy shooting.

Here's the link to the power spacer if you're interested...
