Let me set the stage please.
A couple of months ago I asked a lady neighbor who works at a Salvation Army Thrift Store if she would save me any army men that might be headed for the trash.Friday she stopped by with a half of grocery bag full! From 3" tall to little guys 3/4 " at best,and the best part was a bunch of those small transformer guys that articulate in every direction.
Today being a nice day in Mich. for a change with lots of sun and near 60F I grabbed my trusty .22 Diana 48(AKA Blondie),a fresh tin of RWS 14.5gr.SuperDomes and my bag of guys that were to be assassinated.
I set up a 5.5 X 5.5 target first in one of Tim's home made traps (Thanks Tim I friggin love that trap!!) to make sure Blondie hadn't changed her POI at 10 meters,first shot was a mistake,I forgot how sweet that trigger is and let one go before I was ready(3"high).I give the sidelever another pull slip another Superdome in the breech aim in and gently squeeze one off,I pooped my pants!! Dead center of the 1/2 " bull and I mean smack in the middle.So now I'm all pumped up and can't get those little guys set up fast enough.I put 6 on a 1X4 about 4 inches apart all different sizes and 2 transformer guys.
The first target is the big guy holding a Bazzoka,I think where to place the shot for best destruction,Chest... Thunk,,he goes flying in 3 directions,I'm thinking wow Miss Diana got some balls.I set my sights on a transformer guy holding a Ray gun(them are dangerous you know!!) I take aim at his belt buckle,just above a pivot point,lightly squeeze off another shot,,,Thunk,,
Holy sheet stuff goes flying in every direction,if ya never assassinated a transformer guy or toy you can't imagine all the parts.It looked like it was hit with a pipe bomb instead of a pellet. really LMAO thinking about it!
Needless to say I had a good afternoon,in total enjoyment with my favorite
springer (Blondie)
Tomorrow is another day and after my appointment with my Financial Adviser I may have to repeat what I did today just to get rid of my frustrations LOL.
