Do you know this ammo:
Gamo Rocket .22 cal.

Just bought a (rather expensive) pack of it.
100 rounds inside.
Like wadcutters but instead of a flat head there's a small copper bead pressed onto it.
They look like they're impeccable.
According to the shop's clerk they should be perfect for varminting.

I'm not so sure about that because after about 35 yards they drop pretty fast.
Plus they seem to be somewhat larger than .22 since one has to outright press them into the loading chamber.
I also fear that the copper bead might ruin the barrel.

Anyone got first-hand experience with those?
