Any Joe Bontrager custom airgun owners here?

For awhile now I've thought to myself is this guy really Matt Parker (MWD)
ever since I saw pics of some of his custom PCP airguns. If he isn't Matt
Parker he sure is starting to 'smell' like Matt Parker. Check him out at
the Yellow Forum BOI (Board Of Inquiry).

Personally I don't want to touch a PCP, a high air pressure airgun done
up by any of these Joe Blows! IMO better off sticking to FX, AA, Theoben,
etc.

DAQ? Sure I'd touch one of those. Same with a Mac1 LD USFT/Hunter.

Are you alerting us to someone?

Are you saying he is good or not so good? Haven't checked the BOI. Anyway, your post isn't too clear, at least, to me.

There is a post about him on the Yellow forum

Sounds as if he is having some serious family/health issues and is trying to fill his orders to the best of his ability. I don't know him but several posters have not spoken negatively regarding him.

Isn't hard to check the BOI -

March 28 2009, 9:48 AM

over the years a number of tuners, PCP conversion/custom gun makers/modders,
online airgun magazine creators/owners, etc. have used every trick in and
out of the book so to speak to distract, divide, hide, stall, shut down,
get banned, etc. My dog died, my wife was in a bad car wreck, I have been
diagnosed with cancer, I broke my arms, those guys are lying, I did ship
his gun and he's lying, he's only been waiting 5 years for the gun - I
told him it'd be done in 20 years, etc.

Sooooooooooo many guys will defend a POS until finally it's clear to
everyone they got totally ripped off!

I gotta stop posting on airgun forums and just enjoy shooting airguns.
Right now is a good time to begin the end to my posting on airgun forums.

Over the years I'd guesstimate....

April 22 2009, 8:18 PM

about a half dozen times Dave. A ban here and there, once selling my computer
and just taking a break from the computer for months at a time but sure enough
once in awhile I jump back in and indulge in the AG forum thang for awhile.
Don't care to join any other AG forums and I'm permanently banned from Yellow
and see now the Crosman Forum isn't open unless I make an attempt to kiss some
butt so I guess IF I post once in awhile it'll be here at the DC Forum.

Tim, I never really got their definition of "troll".

Can you define it for me? (I do know what a regular troll is... thing sitting under a bridge waiting for little kids)
