Just got a used but barely used Diana 34 and had a few questions for those who own this gun:
1. Is it normal if the gun is fairly new to almost have to hit/bump the barrel to initially begin cocking it? Likewise after loading the pellet the last 2-3 inches of travel sort of 'snap' into place. Maybe the bearing in there takes some time to break in? I became concerned after how smoothly it looks like the gun cocks in this video

Anybody figure out what that stock cover/cheekpiece item is in the video? I kind of like it!
2. Thinking of getting the new 3-9x32 Bug Buster by Leapers. Does this sound like a good match or should I be looking at another scope?
Any other tips/tricks with this model are appreciated! These forums are awesome. Thanks for the info.
