I just got a Crosman Quest and while shooting the sear slipped and the barrel slammed shut and I now have a nice 2 piece stock it snapped in two at the pistol grip, I have used marine epoxy glue on the ends of the broken parts and with the help of a pipe clamp put the parts together again, the next day I drilled a 1/2 in ch hole through the pistol grip from the action to the heel plate not all the way through but close then epoxyed a 1/2 inch dowel in to reinforce the joint , it is back together better than when new. and I have a new trigger pack as well as a new piston to complete the repair if you don't replace the sear and trigger assembly you will have this happen again. So this is one way to repair a broken stock after the refinished you will not be able to see the repair. howie, ps the next time I see Warren he can take a look .
