looking for a Blue Lam version. i will be selling a couple of guns if i do. you will see them here first before i list them on the for sale forum. if thats allowed. i would like to go with those i know.

i will sell the Diana 52 and the HW 50s. both guns are very good shooters in .177. 52 has a maccari kit and some work on it. no cocking issues and very nice trigger. very accurate. the fit is not right for me for FT. comb not high enough.

the 50s is very sweet. de tuned somwhere between an R7 and the stock Hw 50s.
it is smooth with no vibration or twang. very accurate. i don't need a backyard plinker and so it does not get shot much except in my office. its my office gun. you know, some guys have little putting greens. i have a "range".

gonna keep the stutzen for now. gotta have a diana connection to this board and besides its an interesting gun.

will talk price and describe cosmetic defects later. i offered these guns by email to someone and if he does not want them they go on the block here. priced reasonably.

They are about equal but give the TX a try before you buy.

Another vote for the TX200 MKIII

April 10 2009, 3:02 PM

Sweet, quiet, and it has an anti-beartrap mechanism. You could also check out the Pro Sport if you wanted unique, but harder to cock.

Keep your guns

April 10 2009, 3:52 PM

Larry, I am not big on selling my guns. I love each and every one on them. Once you sell them you will never get them back. I can't blame you for wanting a tx or HW97. Just save up to get one. I hope to have a good TX someday, but will not sacrifice my children for one.

i don't want to repeat my fly rod fiasco

April 10 2009, 6:56 PM

i have so many fly rods that i would have to fish a different rod every time i fish during a typical season. i have some i have not fished yet. its crazy. it happens that i built 95% of them myself.

i don't have the time to shoot four guns. two is stretching it and because i don't hunt i don't need a hunting gun. i just shoot FT at the moment. and the back wall of my office (just kidding).

Holding on

April 11 2009, 3:59 AM

Larry, I can understand your desire to have a great FT gun. However, I like my guns because they are a collection. As Dr. Beeman said, you will spend a lot of time just holding the gun and admiring it. As I mentioned, I hope some day to have a nice TX. However, maybe you should also think about a 460. Detuned this makes a great FT gun. How about the new Diana that is coming out? Just some thoughts.
By the way, you never know what the future holds. You might end up some day with a great place to shoot.

Check the used specials at AOA. It's not the laminated stock but it's listed as like new at $449.
I have a 97 in .20 that is a real sweet shooter.

here is the deal

April 11 2009, 7:39 PM

the 52 has maybe 1000 rounds in it. it has maccari gtrx kit and apex seal. i also replaced the breach seal. i have worked the trigger and it is nice. absolutely no cocking issues. de-burred and lube tuned. it has a 1.5" booboo on the stock comb where i tried to repair a mark and did not match the stain very well.also a couple of small dents i want 325.00 for it shipped. very accurate gun. it has the globe front and two inserts. will have the stock rear sight. .177

HW 50s. .177 about 250 rounds in it. has been de-tuned to somewhere between R7 and standard HW 50s power. it is extremely smooth and hardly any recoil. will have delux R9 front sight and beeman williams rear. very accurate. i just don't need a backyard plinker because, well, i don't shoot in my backyard because of neighbors and laws. i want 300 shipped. price is low because it has a buggered screw slot on the pivot bolt and a nearly invisible scratch on the barrel block. this rifle has a maccari grt spring that i shortened to 27 coils. it fits the inside of the piston perfectly and has absolutley no twang or vibration. it has a JM hornet piston seal sized to fit. i will include the original spring which was not used much if you want more power

if you have interest i prefer paypal to keep the money out of my visible stream. i can invoice you without you having a pay pal account if you pay with a credit card or debit card. i eat the pay pal fees.

will be shipped and insured in proper boxes and packed well.

i am offering them here before i put them on the for sale boards. i want the money for a TX or 97
