Ok Diana, let's see what you are made of! Here's the new kid on the block. He already got in the first punch with a Nice price tag of $149.00 as opposed to your weak left jab of $189.00.
Now
Let the games begin!
would almost make pistol shooting attractive to me. 9" barrel and scopeable.
if that trigger could be improved to around 2lbs maybe make a nice pistol ft rig for a strarter gun. not much information in the ad though. it will be intersting to see what the "real" velocity is with real pellets.
Larry, don't buy a pistol (you know your "obsessive compulsiveness". I bought the Beeman HW 70 70 and it is one fun gun to shoot! Handles very nice, easy to cock and has a great punch! It is pricey though. It has a nice two stag trigger that feels very smooth!
First of all you will not believe how damn accurate the Izzy is! The trigger pull can be adjusted down to the ridiculous!! It will shoot the eyelash off of a gnat!
Someone sold a pistol that looked a lot like that on AA a few months back

It was Turkish and looked like a glammed up Slavia. Styling was very much like the one PA shows. What kind of anti-recoil are you going to get for $149? Certainly not a Giss system. A modified sled as in the 54? One thing is for sure. If it does work to mitigate recoil, I can see someone setting up the action as a little carbine. And it might take a GRT trigger from the looks of that Theoben style safety hanging down.
Red, looking at the specs of the Hatsan and the Browning, it looks more like Hatsan copied the HW 70 rather than the P5 Diana. The weight, barrel length, and overall length are closer to the HW 70.Anyway, if this new pistol shoots well, it could give Diana a run for the money at that price, and the HW70 as well. Only time will tell.
