All,

How much "stuff" do you drag out and along to go shooting?

I have 2 boxes of targets and junk to shoot stored in my P/U toolbox, I always take a4 ft tall target stand, I HAVE to have my Pellet box with a dozen types of pellets, and oh yea...at least 3 -5 guns.

 Whew!

Ah for the old days when I didn't "Play" so much and just took a rifle and a tin of pellets with me!

get your wife to help you or maybe your Kid's (grand children) will not

I know what you mean, look at this scenario; Sunday and I wake up and set up everything after coffee, get my air guns and targets, select pellets and place targets (45 minutes) then I start my session; BUT WAIT

the phone rings, my wife answers and tells me I have 10 minutes to STOP everything because the grandkids are comming to visit

it happens all the time

Warren

I have 10 minutes to disassemble what took me 45 minutes to assemble

and remember "it's 30% the gun and 70% the shooter"

I only have to go as far as my back porch.

Pellets, chair, rest, targets and rifles.
Targets at 25, 50 and 75 yards.
When I hunt, I take one gun and a pellet pouch full of pellets.

Back Porch here too

I have permanent backstops at 30, 40, and 55 yards. They in turn have permanent spinners, tin cans, target holders, etc. Those are my walk out and shoot targets. I supplement with other, less weather resistant spinners, Field Targets, and Silhouette targets if we are having a get together. Have a winter 10-15 meter range in the basement also. It is nice not having to take anything (or is it that I brought it all!).

basement range

May 17 2009, 3:28 PM

I used to have a 75 ft. basement range when I was a teen it went from the garage to the back wall of the basement we had the garage under the house but after I went through 2 layers of 2x12 and into the conder block to the dirt outside it kind of killed it. Ha Ha but every time I try to dig a basement to make a under the house range I hit water aint florida great . HA HA howie
