awhile back the telltale 'thingy' popped off my Benji ACP392 and I lost one of
the three pieces (spring, screw, nut). I lost the nut or whatever it's called.
I could see it'd been red loctited but it came loose anyway.
No Biggie! I just filled the hole and put a thin strip of felt padding on the
underside of the pump handle end. I already had did plenty of chrony testing
and knew a 3 pump shoot then 4 pump shoot then 3, etc. would consistently,
repeatedly deliver 690ish +/- 5 fps MV shooting CPs. I simply don't need the
telltale to tell me the tale - I know the tale!

I also know if I choose to
take the spare or second shot it'll deliver 560ish fps MV with CPs. Then I'd
just empty the remaining residual air/charge and pump 8 times to get back in
the 'groove'.
Chrony comes in handy
