Finally got the RWS 34 tuned and polished along with a GRT kit from Macarri.Sure smoothed things out as the cocking slot was full of burrs and barrel need to be recrowned.Took one in the chest at 20 yards a RWS dome.22 Has the new Leapers RWS droop compensating one piece base with Weaver rings and a Hawke 6X MAP reticle

no wonder

Harold:

the sweet 34 meets the sour crow, he had a lead meal for lunch by means of the RWS dome .22

crows are highly intelligent birds and not easy to drop but maybe this one did not have a high IQ for a crow or did not know there was a tuned 34 in the area

darn; I still have to nail a crow and believe me I have tried and tried maybe a tin of pellets and NO DICE for me

those dam crows in my area KNOW I have the 34 and the 48 and stay away teasing me

Hey: Harold, send me that crow in the mail and I will post that I got one LOL

nice shoting

warren

and remember "it's 30% the gun and 70% the shooter"

killing power

This crow and one pigeon is about all I've shot with this gun.[Son's Xmas gift]But It killed the crow quicker than my over penetrating HW80K/.22 I guess because the pellet energy stayed in the bird. With the HW I never recover a pellet on bodyshot grouse or crows as it blows right through even with JSB predators.Velocity isn't everything. My son smoked a large tree eating porcupine with the 34 with one pellet to the ear and it was about 25lbs....................I like the lighter weight of the 34 for lugging around the woods compared to the HW.No bout adoubt it.............Harold
