Yes the 34 stock is in much need of a factory upgrade as we all most certainly agree. In the meantime I will be soon offering "Upgrade" stock/refinishing options for the 34 & other stocks. happy.gif Most all of us have at some time reqested a rubber butt pad of sorts on the 34?? Adding a butt pad is simple for those with few woodworking skills & tools. (No "Slip On,s" here) happy.gif An adjustable butt pad would be nice "butt" I can tell Ya the part alone is $35. sad.gif Im not sure most Folks want to spend that much plus labor?? (I will not charge any more/less for any add on butt pad) I have done enough stock "Upgrades" now to know I am comfortable with a labor charge of $50. This would include: Stripping of factory finish,, slight re-shaping,,, custom fitting of your choice of butt pad,,re-finished with your choice of finish/color. The butt pad is extra,, I have a few locally available in the $15-20 range. Again,,, your choice. Extended fore arms & grip extensions will be on a case by case basis. Choices of woods are extensive. I currently have in stock,,, Walnut,, Cherry,,Spanish Cedar (A look alike for Mahogany) ect. Sorry "Mods" if I am out of line with this "Self Promoting" post,, All here know me,,, I am just truly wanting to help others by offering my humble services. I am not in this for the money,,,,,,,,,,,,, I figure I will be lucky to make $3 an hour at best. It is making another airgunners day that makes me a rich man!! happy.gif Wishing the best to all my old Diana Werks Family,,,, "Old Tim". happy.gif[IMG][linked image][/IMG] [IMG][linked image][/IMG] [IMG][linked image][/IMG] [IMG][linked image][/IMG] [IMG][linked image][/IMG]

You really have some talent and you are always looking to help people.

That's a very attractive price too. If I had an older 34 or 36 with average wood, or scratches, they 'd be out the door on their way to you.

You never cease to amaze me Tim! Keep up the good work buddy! I hope you get a little busy with these but always make time for shooting happy.gif

the adjustable pad from JM is $40.00 shipped

September 7 2009, 1:29 PM

Tim:

and the total price does not include the re-carving, plus shipping back and forth, keep on adding $$$$ and you will find that the work on these wood stocks can go from $125.00 to $200.00 easy

not many people spend that money on a M34 that is worth $200.00 but to be fair to you I have done it more than 5 times besides the cost of a top hat, rear guide, tesla piston seal, buttons to the piston and a JM spring without the $$ for a 1 pc. mount and scope AND a muzzle break and a METAL trigger replacement and, .......... some more

is my 34 worth $700.00???

it is to ME, LOL

Thanks For The Kind Words Folks,,, :)

September 7 2009, 5:33 PM

Thank you my old Friends for your show of support!! happy.gif I can certainly modify my prices on a case by case basis. I realize the shipping costs can add up. "Butt",,, shipping a stock alone is pretty cheap. Yup Warren Buddy,,, it still can get pretty expensive in the long run for a custom stock though:(. Alot of Folks just want a butt pad added to thier Diana 34,s,,, this does however require a refinish & slight re-shaping. Additional costs to be considered as you said would be the cost of the pad itself & shipping both ways. I am searching now for a low cost butt pad. (I would apreciate input from others here that may know of one that is a close fit only requiring sizing down a tad.) happy.gif Thank you all again for your support,,, I have 2 more 34 stocks in the mail to me!! happy.gif Yup Warren,,,, some Folks like you & me dont mind spending a hundred or so bucks on one of the best springers ever made,,,, the Diana 34!!!! happy.gif "Old Tim" timmyj1959@yahoo.com 843-810-3625 happy.gif

Nice work there, Grandpa! I ought to send you a couple of my scratch n dent cracked bargains that I can't seen to get around to. Something tells me you will be very successful at this. It is JUST what a lot of air gun owners want.
