Received email from Diana with clear info why the 470 assembly don't fit the 460.
So unless a 470 cocking leaver is fitted, and then the retaining screw might be in a different place, it looks like a custom assembly is the answer.

That's a shame

The Stutzen's have that mechanism and IMHO, it is inferior to the standard underlever mechanism as it lacks adjustability.

Dose anyone think that it would be worth getting a 470 longer leaver so the 470 front assembly would fit?

Depends I guess, the 460 is pretty long already

I'm 6' 6" and have no problem handling the rifle, but if the 470 is much longer it would be akward IMO.

Still seems that a talented machinist could pull it off and build something to custom fit the 460 with some kind of adapting break like that.

I was given an estimated price by UMAREX that the 470 TH in November will run close to $800. For that price I could EASILY find a gently used 460, purchase a DIY TH grade 4 walnut stock and pay a machine practically $300+ to "tinker" and I'd still come out ahead.

Someone out there has to be able to do this. Maybe more a question of demand when it comes down to it.

Still, $400-$500 difference leaves a lot of fudging room.
