Wanted: superbly accurate rifle usable for FT/HFT/Bench shooting
and light hunting. Under 12 ftlb energy to qualify
under international field target rules. Must cost under
$800 total for rifle, accesories, and any tunes. Must be a Diana.
What would you buy / build??
would go with a regular stock and not a stutzen simply because the long stock on the stutzen can cause side pressure on the barrel. you want hte barrel free floating like a regular 46. it will be just under 12 fpe.
but he said light hunting. i think it might be too heavy for that. it does meet the other requirments. i guess it can be tuned down to 12 fpe as well although i am not sure exactly how to get there. Hector has some stuff for it.

5 in one??
not going to happen
you either get 2 of 5 or maybe 3 of 5 but not all 5 of them and if someone comes up with that air rifle
PLEASE let me KNOW
warren
and remember "it's 30% the gun and 70% the shooter"
I don't think you would have a hard time finding someone to reduce the power to your needs. Since they have been used for FT, it goes without saying that they should be accurate enough. Weight is a factor, but some of the other Diana guns (350/460) aren't exactly Tinkerbells.
Maybe you could find a nice Diana 27. Already under 12, really good three-ball trigger, great hunting gun and it will be one of the prettiest springers at the match.
