did anyone notice the rifles that made the top ten in springer? many wischombe and tx guns. HW did not show up till 9th place. no dianas at all, but then diana does not hold itself out as an ft gun. a wischombe was first and a tx second. the tx shooter shot a hw 97 at last years california champs and won but is shooting a tx at the nationals.hmmm. when a tx is shooting well it is hard to beat. they don't all shoot well though. lots of issues.

I wasnt there or there is a good chance an RWS48/52 would have been 10th-12th place in Hunter class. My rig could win , my shooting could not.
Now for myself I want to know what Shanghai Industries rifle out shot a USFT, AA410, FX, Disco, Mrod, Bam, Daystate in Hunter class. I think it is pretty clear it was Ron's shooting that placed him in 2nd 2 point below the first place winner Charles Garvey using a USFT.

I can bet a penny to a $1.00 the M48 can hold it's own and place in the top 10 in the Hunter class without a doubt

2nd by 2 points is an "OUCH" he will second guess himself for the rest of his life, he was close, very close

warren

and remember "it's 30% the gun and 70% the shooter"

on the first day

Kevin Yee from northern california was 8 points ahead of Mr. Duran in the springer class. on the second day he finished 2 points down in the overall. of course conditions could have changed for him. i believe they shoot a different range each day. i know i always question those missed shots when its close. "if i had just relaxed that pectoral muscle"
