Just tried it on my 5GN didnt fit, then tried on my 5G and Perfect fit as in the 6M pistol.Maybe there is a differance because one pistol frame is Plastic and the other is Steel?
Sold 12 Pistols in last 2 years but Keep my RWS 5GS, RWS 5N, RWS 6M Pistol. Have had almost every Pistol made but Prefer the RWS Pistols Hands Down over all the Rest,Easy to Shoot and very Accurate and I mean the RWS 5G Pistol. The RWS 6M has slight edge, but would never Part with my 5GS or 5N Pistols. And to Think Im not a Real Pistol Shooter, but always use Combat 2 Hand Hold to Shoot. I havr Tried One Handed and I need a Big Barn to use as Target. Just cant Master the One Hand Hold !
Hi Athanasios, You are a real two-handed pistol shooter!
Don't worry about shooting single offhand unless you decide
to shoot NRA or ISSF Bullseye. I shot an RWS mod 6M in 10
meter ISSF competition for almost a year. The 6M is very accurate
and has a good semi adjustable trigger. It really built my muscles
up because it is even heavier than the IZH-46! My scores improved
over that period. Then I bought a "proper' 10 meter match pistol,
a Steyr LP1-C(hardly used).
You can use your two-hand hold and compete in AP Silhouette.
The 6M is a very nice pistol. I have two and use them for plinking, hunting small (really small) game. Had a FWB 65 MkII in the '80s and sold it to keep a 6M. Couldn't get comfortable cocking the 65.
Both of my 6Ms need seals. Again! Got some good seals and springs from JM and need to take time to install them.
I also use a two hand grip. Of sorts. It's more like the grip/stance used for a match rifle. Left elbow against ribs, bracing right hand holding pistol.
