M34PPC Lubrication

I now have run about 500 rounds through my new M34 Panther Pro Compact and I love shooting it. For the past two days or so, it has been becoming harder to break and lockup the barrel and I suspect it is time for some lubricado. I also suspect that the prominant ball bearing that is visible with the breach open is the culprit.

I don't want to do anything stupid here so I need advice on how to lubricate this gun, including the piston seal and anything else which is critical. The "manual" that came with the gun is no help. The pyramid site recommends silicone oil (2 drops) but is not specific about where to place it.

Thanks in advance for any advice that you can offer.

ZZ

The 34 pivot point is pretty easy to deal with, I think I used some JM Molly in that area when I installed a spring kit. Break the barrel a bit to relieve tension, unbolt the crossbolt, then push the sleeve out of the pivot. Once you remove the breechblock/barrel assy you should have a washer on each side... lube and reinstall. Most/all pivot points on mine are lubed with molly, cycled a few times and then wiped off where exposed. Now I guess it could also be caused by dry/galling internals?
