Hey guys,,well I thought I'd post the results of my 350's Vortek kit as she's a different gun all together now,(I'm happy to say).I'm amazed at how smooth she is and the Accuracy is just out of this world,(When I do my part). I am a bit slower than some at 853 fps,but I don't mind that at all as she's just a joy to shoot.I am including the group and a pic of the distance,(28 yards) so you can see where my backstop is with the brown box and target spots.

Tom Gore has a winner with these kits when you can take a gun twisting and rocking like a howitzer and transform her into a real hunting rifle.

Thanks Tom once again,,and I think the reason she's bit below what you thought she should be because of the tighter 8 L&G Barrel.

is your in .22 or .177, I am thinking of doing a Vortek on my 460 in .22. Is the cocking much easier/smoother and the recoil reduce as well?

smooth and the recoil is a thud when it bottoms out.very very smooth in all aspects compared to original and the kit I had before.

very good power for sure,I`m guessing your fairly low elevation?I have the same gun,same barrel,same kit,and your 75fps faster than mine.I ended up having to put the weight back in my piston,and now getting 820 CP`s,and that`s plenty of power,I think.

Well I got my New Kit,,Installed and the Power is Better than the First one.Must have just been my Luck to get a Bad spring,(And if there was one I'd get it)! Tom sent me a replacement promptly and I am just posting as I've been unable to get things done up.
Correction too,I'm actually 170 FASL here and at 873 fps with 14.66 FTT's and she's still as smooth as silk.I'll post back after I have a couple tins of 500 through her,(But I can say now at 140) she's actually got a bit better at this point than she was the first time..
