I'm beta testing an online tool I developed for my paid member site, but before I release it, I'd like to know what you think.

I'm beta testing a new invention I developed for my paid members to check the Whois database and 2 popularity services all at the same time -- results displayed on one screen -- delivered in less than a second (on my DSL line).

It parses:
Google PageRank
Alexa Web Search Rank
Number of inbound links
Overall popularity rank (combined PageRank and Alexa rank)
Whois data (admin contact address and email)

Click here to see the results of Cybermarketing Infoboard. Feel free to check your site or your competition's site, too.

Question #1 -- should I make this a free or paid tool?
Question #2 -- any other data you'd like me to include?

I plan to make it available to my paid membership and those ordering my discussion forum marketing system.

I ran this by Yanik (he thought it was very cool) and he thought the free model works best.

If I keep this free, I'm concerned about the bandwidth problem. Also, I wondering if making it too available gets me in trouble with Google and Alexa (parsing their data).

But the advantage of free is I'll get affiliate referral leads (yes, it's setup to be offered to affiliates and tracks sales at the same time.

Any ideas on what should I do? I'm announcing my decision in my newsletter later today (along with how to take advantage of the results)... I'd appreciate your quick thoughts.

Free or member's only... any ideas?
