| I'm sorry, that's a blinkered view.
It negates the right of an individual to express not only an honest oppinion, but an honest fact, and is hardly in the best interests of the members where there is a danger of ill-treatment or malpractice either...and I speak as someone who wasn't even affected so have no axe to grind as far as recent events are concerned.
The owner of the board does have the right to run it as they wish - It'd be kind'a cool if there was a more obvious AUP stipulating the board-owners rules on these matters...Maybe there is but the keyword is "obvious".
Another keyword, or more appropriately, keyphrase, is "owner of the board".
If there was blatant personal bashing going on, then yeah, no problem; Here we have honest anger based on factual experiences, ergo, no legal problem.
I presume this is run from the USA?
The land that has the 5th amendment, which might not be what it was but means I can find things out about my Country more easily than I can here!
It's such a shame to see free-honest-speech being eroded for which many people died to bring about.
...and for an outside invisible force at that!...A force that has effectively shut the mouths of the injured faster than they themselves can get their money back!!
The events aired on here, and other boards, are not negative, they're positive if they put the hard-earned money back in the rightful owners pockets, and even failing that, they have performed a good deed if others aren't caught out.
