I have been marketing online for four years now and have done evrything one shouldn't do and spent way too much money in the process.
If there is one piece of advice I could give anyone starting off with a new site it is to get the email addresses of those who visit your site and start some sort of newsletter/ezine.
I have done this recently and am starting to see the power in this marketing tactic. Im starting to build a relationship with my subscriber base and it feels good.
Don't worry if you only have a few hits to your site. Your subscribers will grow daily.
