When posting in e-mail discussion groups, I like to use the following format:
1. Respond to someone else's question. And the answer should be just that, an answer to what was asked, not a sales pitch.
2. Then I sign my name and finish with a two- or three-line signature, aka a "sigfile." Here are three of my favorites:
