I'm keen to see what the reaction on this might be and the opinions you might have
based on this decision we've taken at our
website at www.PsychoTactics.com
----------------
About a month ago, we decided
to pull out the affiliates section.
Part of the reason, is that most affiliates are generally around just for the commission. I would never recommend a product or service I didn't personally try out, and I'm not sure why it changes things on the internet.
This means that no one can be an affiliate of our products and neither will we bill affiliates of other products. However, the stance we've taken is that we are more than happy to promote products or services or websites that are good without any charge.
We believe that we will partner with good products and sites and we believe that others will do the same over time. As a partnership, we will both grow without the concept of simply
paying out commissions to each other.
Does this fly in the face of common sense business? Or does it add to the credibility of what we're offering? What is your opinion? I'd like to hear it.
By the way the page where you can see what I mean is at
http://www.psychotactics.com/links.htm. It's more detailed there, so it might be a better idea to check it out first before responding to this.
What do you think? I'd be keen to know your opinions.
