I beleive you've realized something many never do in a lifetime.
1) that you deserve better than what you get,
2) that you can do by yourself
Many never realize point 1) because they are afraid of
point 2).
I personally like to be afraid because it is nearer to
reality: nothing is guaranteed, there is risk
everywhere. So why have it to disappear from some
important activity like our work ?
Some collect stiff prices for "removing" that risk out of our lives.
And only them finally get any real security...
Real security comes from the control we actually have
over risks.
And not from relying on someone "bigger".
I like the thrill as I said of getting over the
situations as they present themselves. Because this
ability is highly regarded in our culture.
