Everyone has so many great replys. All I can say is I love it. My wife and I own our own business that pulls 80%+ of our business from the Web. It is challenging, but terrific. We own it, we control it, we are responsible for making it a success. At the end of the day, our passion for that is demonstrated by the customers we bring in and the repeat customers who return to us. It is very gratifying.
Now, I also work for another company and share many of the thoughts others have had. I am lucky in that I have a good job...but still commute 3 1/2 hours a day on top of a 10+ hour work day.
Having tasted the benefits of our own business, I am starting my own online marketing business. I have a lot of work to do and a lot to learn, but am laser clear about the success I want to achieve. That is why I want to be in business for myself.
