Thanks for your reply to my message, it was very informative and i will bear those pointers in mind the next time i shop online.

I have another question for you or anyone else who reads this, have you ever come across any cash-card readers attached to computers that allow people to swipe their cards on the spot to make their purchase. I have seen these machines attached in public computers in Singapore e.g. the library where people can pay their fines and at driving centres where people can book and pay for their driving tests. However I have yet to see this elsewhere.

Do you think this is a safer way rather than giving your personal details online? However, it does have its inconveniences as it is not a common feature in everyone's home. What are you views, please feel free to express your views on this.
