Reality in Advertising by Rosser Reeve, ? pre-1961 edition

'Reality In Advertising' - Rosser Reeves, rare 1960 edition

Hello

I've been trying to research a 1st edition of the above classic USP book, and have found a bunch at various bookseller sites. I've also found one for sale on eBay that predates the others (1960 rather than 1961), and published by Ted Bates & Co Inc. Reeves' agency.

Has anyone heard of this edition,or can say anything about it (numbers of copies printed, numbers of editions?)?

It may turn out to be out of my price range, but there are plenty of the 1961 editions around.

I'd be grateful for any help.

Also, can folk advise me of the best www-based marketing and advertising newsgroups (my dodgy PC won't let me synchronise with any through Outlook or Outlook Express), and I'm kinda new to all this.
