Hello Readers,
I thought it maybe be of interest to all readers to be informed of a service I have been using for several months now that I think is a fantastic resource for eliminating the dreaded spam problem all or most of us have. I have gone through several anti-spam applications over the past year only to be disappointed with one aspect or another with their performance until I found a service called
http://www.safeaddress.com.
Let me tell you a little more about it...
SafeAddress is a groupware virtual office application designed with the ease of use in mind as well as giving consumers the powerful features they want in their personal email service – without the annoyance of spam. The product does not require extensive training or advanced knowledge to be used, installed or operated. The online application takes less than five minutes to set up through web mail or with Microsoft Outlook and all other POP e-mail clients, including Outlook Express, Netscape Messenger and Eudora. The SafeAddress virtual office solution enables consumers a web-based interface e-mail access allowing collaboration of meetings, tasks, journals, projects, documents, and includes plentiful storage space using any browser-based device such as a standard PC/Mac computers, cellular phones (WAP or iMode), PDA, WebTV or Internet Kiosks without having to configure anything.
I like it because it works like this...
Emails sent from new sources that are not included in the user's email address book are put into a system pending folder and automatically sent back an email request to authenticate (called a Challenge) their correspondence. This methodology works great because Machine-generated email cannot reply to the Challenge email so the original email is never put into the consumer's Inbox for review. New users need to only respond once by replying to the Challenge email in order to be recognized by the system and user’s email address book in the future. The only email users see is from recognized correspondents or new contacts that respond to the Challenge email or have been imported into the system by the end user.
• Users can add the names of those whose email they wish to receive. Those names will not be asked to authenticate their identity.
• New senders only need to authenticate themselves once -- a process that takes only a few seconds and a click of a button.
• Quarantined email if not Challenged is automatically deleted, freeing the user from the time-consuming task of deleting each message manually.
So there you have it Stephen. A short explaination of what this service can do for your business. If you have any questions feel free to email me at my address to experience how it works for yourself.
Sincerely,
Chad Deckard
