I don't spam. But in my earlier years on the internet, I did get accused of it, I think twice. How do you protect yourself from false accusations?

What's been working for me, is that I now have a system, such that I can track how and when a person joins my email list, requests more information, etc. I keep my records in Notepad, and if anyone ever brings up a false spam accusation, I can now bring up their file, and show them when they requested info, where they found out about my site from, and other information.

Especially since these new spam laws are popping up all over the place, it's important that we keep extensive records to protect ourselves.
