Response to New to internet

William,

The comment Willie made is sound in the sense of asking the question "what is your market?"

Therefore before leaping in with two feet, it might be prudent to do some homework.

To learn the basics - aka how to create a web site and how to market using e-mail - you may want to look at the products put together by the Newbie Club on these topics. The products are quite good and reasonably priced.

(You can join the Club for free and take a look around.)

While there, if you don't have a copy of Scientific Advertising by Claude Hopkins in your e-library, you can pick up a copy. Again for free.

Well worth the read and you will find yourself referring to it again and again. I do all the time.

Since you are contemplating selling someone else's product or service, I would also pick up and read The Affiliate Masters Course by Ken Evoy.

(Again another free resource. Evoy developed and has mastered the concept of the pre-sell. If you don't have web hosting and want an all in one solution for your business opportunity, Evoy has put together an excellent product to suit your needs Site Build It)

As you are considering enrolling in a business opportunity, you may find this article of value - HowTo Choose A Biz Opp Without Losing Your Shirt

One final thought. In developing an online business there are essentially two areas of focus:

* visitors generated through search engine traffic; and

* marketing to potential customers through email.

(I have vastly simplified matters, but sometimes it helps to keep things straightforward.)

On the Search Engine side - two sites:

A good place to consider is a site called Search Engine Watch

Also, another site were you can find some good resources is Word Tracker

(This is a rather specialized service - but you can try it out for free and the site also has some useful articles.)

On the creation of a customer base, two resources:

The Amazing List Machine by Paul Myers

- and -

Co-Registration Secrets by Ed Thorpe

William I have given you a lot of information. Some of it you can access at no cost. Other resources will take some cash.

But don't get "planitis" - because ultimately the learning is in the doing.

Trusting these comments are of some value.

Kind regards,
