2. Motivation
3. Determination to succeed
Without these three, whichever path you take you will likely fail. But with these three, you will get there in time.
Just pick something that appeals to you, preferably something that you have some sort of passion for (or you won't have the motivation to continue when it gets tough), and stick at it until you see results. If you don't see results change what you are doing until you do; when you start seeing results, build on it.
