I don't think security is much of an issue or concern nowadays as a good number of people are transacting online and revealing their credit card numbers etc. This is because they have placed more trust in the system or the software used by the company/providers as compared to years ago. People realise that tight securities and encryption of codes are well in place.
Hence,I presume the same for M-Commerce since it's more advance. I think M-Commerce is a profitable business model for E-Commerce and "payment process" shouldn't be an issue hindering its success or acceptance. But then again, there are sceptics out there that will still question, "How safe is safe?" since some unethical people will misuse such information for their self-interest.
Probably time will tell the potential of M-Commerce integrating E-Commerce.
