I have tried numerous tell-a-friend scripts
and the best one I found was a bonus in the
'Explosive List Building' package offered by
Alex Sampson. He had a script specifically
written around his specs...
The main reason I chose this as top dog was
that the script allowed 7 referral entries,
can't be cheated (it only recognizes unique
IPs as valid, people can't get credit for bogus
or their own email addresses) plus you can
change the amount of confirmed visits the
referrer needs to receive your offer...

Needs CGI bin and a MySQL database...
I have allowed for 7 emails and the referrer
only needs 3 unique visitors to get my offer
which is automatically delivered once the
software has detected the required visits...
