This is how I promote mine.
1) Submit to Search Engine. I use WebPosition Gold Standard Edition - $149
2) Via Email. Attach my websites to my mail signature - free
3) Forums. I post them in forums which allows such postings - free
4) Link Exchange. I exchange links with sites who have higher traffic and related content to offer - free
5) I create my own web toolbar and send to my customers. This enables me to automatically update my customers on new products via the toolbar - can't remember how much the software cost.
