Affiliate operators who joined US-based affiliate programs or sold advertising space on their respective site are usually paid in US dollar-denominated cheques, drawn on US banks and cashing them through foreign banks often costs a fortune. These affiliate operators can often not present these cheques to their local banks for payment, simply because the amounts of the cheques are too small to cover the high transaction fees charged by those same local bank.
Seems that bank and financial world could not change their old style behaviour of paper bureaucracy (cheque processing) despite so fast advancement in internet marketing world and internet security. Believe it or not the bank still believe in paper (cheque) than e-trading and e-transaction. What an old stubborn head of financial world.
But now I found that there are few web services (less than 5) on the net that could cash affiliate cheque to atm transfer/wire transfer or ecurrency like egold, ebullion, netpay, pecunix, wmz etc which have many market exchangers. Two of them are Capital collect LLC and Cyfrocash. With these services, affiliate cheque could be cashed quicker and cheaper. Anybody has experience with them? Off course it would be better if all affiliate commission be paid directly to debit card like Ikobo or ecurrency which is more liquid and smaller transaction fee.
