I used to be in the direct mail/mail order business many years ago. Back then you could order a very specific "mailing list" to match the product you were selling. You could not only specify "smokers" but even could specify pipe smokers, cigar smokers, etc. (I was selling a stop smoking product). You could be VERY targeted.
Fast forward to the Internet... I see hundreds of sites that promise to sell me "Targeted Leads" or get "Targeted Traffic" but they are ALL (I mean ALL) are referring to people who want to start up their own Internet business! That fine for that purpose but I have a site for health products and I am thinking of creating one for Golf enthusiasts. So MY idea of "Targeted Leads/Traffic" is for people in THOSE markets, interested in THOSE kinds of products - NOT just starting a new Internet business.
Does anyone know of any Sites with the kind of Leads or Traffic with a very selected Market? I have been looking and writing emails but always get back "We don't have that kind of list". Anyone know of any sources or ideas?
