I'm a list broker, have been for 10 years. I routinely deal with list owners of permission-based e-mail lists. I can get you a list of college students at their e-mail address. However, these would be rented lists. In other words, they would cost you money. But, they are actual e-mail addresses that are updated frequently and are 100% opt-in.
My services as a list broker are free to you. I get a commission from the list owners when the list is rented. If you need a list of college students at their e-mail address, send me an e-mail. I'll be happy to send you a datacard detailing the source of the list, the quantities and selections available and the pricing.
And, please, don't fool around with non-permission based e-mails, your business's reputation will surely suffer.
