Hello Mara,
There is a fortune hidden in your camcorder.
Today, I am going to teach you how to stand in front of other peoples traffic with video.
This is a powerful, simple and direct marketing strategy.
Last week I mentioned that there are currently over 173 video portals on the web.
At the beginning of this year there were ZERO.
By the end of this year we anticipate that there will be over 500 portals exclusively devoted towards video streaming.
Over the last ten years the largest fortunes online have been made by selling traffic.
A tiny little search engine called GoTo.com created the industry that we now know as pay per click.
Pay-per-click is estimated to be currently a thirteen billion dollar a year industry.
Why is this important?
Follow The Leader.
Google has launched its video adwords informercials targeting the other half of the advertising pie.
Currently they pull in 7 billion from their text based advertising network. They have decided to target non text based advertising and serve video adword infomercials to their customers.
In this pay per click industry all keywords are auctioned off to the highest bidders for placement.
For example:
The keyword “digital photography” is currently bid at $5.00 per click on Yahoo!
The Keyword “Bahamas” is currently bid at $1.51 per click.
If you were competing in these niches you would need to be willing to bid close to these amounts to get exposure on the Yahoo Network.
The prices are very similar for exposure on the Google Network.
But here is an outside the box traffic generation idea using video infomercials.
With 173 video portals online the smart marketers are placing their messages for free on ALL of these video portals.
Sometimes all you have to do to succeed is to learn to stand in front of other peoples traffic.
This is how we do it….click on this link….
http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=infomercials
Notice how we dominate this extremely competitive niche. J
Currently YouTube.com the Palo Alto California video portal serves up over 40 million videos every day.
The traffic from any video portal is free and extremely qualified.
How do I know this for sure….
This is how I save $5,175 per month on promoting my website.
The keyword “infomercial” costs $7.50 per click on Yahoo Search Marketing.
$7.50 is a lot of money to pay for a set of eyeballs on a website.
That is why we use video portals to assist in getting our message out there…..
In otherwords, this is how we stand infront of other peoples traffic with VIDEO.
These video messages on video.google.com generate on average 23 qualified visitors to our website every day of which almost 30% convert to become part of our mailing list. These simple videos generate 690 visitors to my website every month. When you multiply 690 visitors times $7.50 per visitor the savings are $5,175 per month. This is how I generated over 207 free optin subscribers to this newsletter last month.
SWEET!
And this is done by simply posting my message and standing in front of other peoples traffic.
Excited yet?
Imagine the possibilities with 172 more video portals!
So what is your story? Who is applying this tactic in your niche? Go check http://video.google.com
