You have a recent iltter that is listed on the AKC classifieds. Health testing is like an investment. You certainly will make enough money of this litter to do whatever needs to be done.
And, I assume, you are only going to do what is required for CHIC? That is just an office visit for the vet to do a cardiac and patella exam, sign the application, and you mail it in, not costing you more than $50 total for all. Of course, if you do x-rays of hips, elbows, spine and trachea, that might run you about $200. Far less than one dog show week end.
