She was unregistered at the time and I was not aware that to show in Bred-By and have it count, the animal has to be registered by the time the show closes. If I'm not mistaken, in other classes, an animal can be registered no later than 30 days after the win for it to still count. This scenario has occured a few times now, after the Nationals with foreign dogs that weren't subsequently registered within a 30 day period after the win. In fact it happened at the last National in Spokane. So, the major Cynder won at Del Mar last year was lost because it was a "cross-over" major and the RWB ended up with either a single or two singles.
