Volusia County, Florida
The County Council of Volusia County, FL is proposing a mandatory spay/neuter ordinance, requiring that all dogs (and cats) over 6 months of age be spayed/neutered. On May 1, the county council approved, in principle, a draft ordinance. June 5 has been set as the date for the vote on the new law.
Reading, Ohio
Reading, Ohio is considering passing a breed ban. The first reading of the proposal was on Monday, May 12. The proposed ordinance could pass on the third reading, with a majority vote of the city council.

within the city of Chicago a dog or cat over six months of ages which
