1 female is kept in her own huge kennel cause she will fight with anyone. The rest are out together unless someone is in heat, then the one in heat is put on the side yard. If it is really hot the Bulldogs go in the kennel (indoor/outdoor runs with ac). We have too many kids to keep the dogs indoors right now, plus Brennen is mobile so he is fascinated with all their stuff and loves to play with food and water bowls. If it is a show weekend then whomever is entered is kept crated inside so we don't have to keep doing a full grooming daily. Otherwise it's in the backyard to play and cause havoc...that includes Ms Holly when she is here Jaime over the objections of her handler of course!! lol
