For those that want those extra shows, they usually can make it. But like with other breed nationals, they run a week with just their own show and other events.
The point is, would people prefer just the Nationals.....with time to visit, relax, see the dogs in the ring, attend the different events and seminars, etc?
It seems the "complaint" is that it has gotten so busy, judging running so long, conflicts with dogs and bitches at the same time, etc., etc. May be we need to get back to just being the Nationals week, where people can visit, watch and do the things they can only do once a year. For those wanting to show, my goodness, there are shows and specialties all over the country every week end.
